    Kids Fun Run:  9:40 am

    Sign Up for the popular kids fun run will take place on race day. It is suggested that a $5 donation be made to EMARC for all participants in the fun run. The distance for the fun run is about a 1/2 mile. Parents are encouraged to run with their children and cheer them on.

    Race Location: 497 Main Street at the Melrose YMCA

    Race Day Registration:  from 8 - 9:45 AM at the Melrose YMCA
     
    Packet Pick Up: Beat the race day rush and pick up your race packet at Marathon Sports, 401 Main Street, Melrose on
                              Thursday, September 4th from 3 - 7 PM
                              Friday, September 5th from 12 - 6 PM
                              Saturday, September 6th from 12 - 5 PM
     
    Awards: Awards will be given out to the top 3 Males and Females in the following age groups: 18 and under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

O2X Summit Challenge Series

  • A mountain running experience that blends trail running and creative natural challenges with a summit finish line, the 2014 O2X Summit Challenge Series includes weekend stops at Sugarbush, Vermont (Sept. 13-14), Sunday River, Maine (Sept. 27-28), Loon Mountain, NH (Oct. 18-19) and Windham NY (Oct. 25-26). For spectators and participants, a weekend-long “BaseCamp” will blend on-site camping, scheduled nature hikes for friends and spectators, training-and-performance exhibits, and a farmer’s market-inspired gathering of local fare.
